A spring-like weather pattern will persist across Oklahoma this week.

The National Weather Service says daytime temperatures may approach the 70s in parts of the state on Tuesday, and showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Wednesday.

On Monday, skies were mostly clear and daytime highs ranged from 53 degrees in Guymon to 65 degrees in Frederick, Lawton and McAlester. The mercury peaked at 62 degrees in Muskogee and Tulsa and at 63 degrees in Guthrie and Oklahoma City.

Fog may develop early and skies should be mostly cloudy. Temperatures are expected to range from the mid-50s to low 70s on Tuesday.

Showers and thunderstorms are possible Tuesday night as lows range from the 30s in the Oklahoma Panhandle to the 50s in the southeast.
