Stitch Together a Simple Organizer to Conquer Your Mail [Weekend Project]

January 7, 2010 at 4:09 pm (Uncategorized)

This year, 2010—it’s the year you will not let bills pile up and junk mail overrun your desk. Grab some fabric, borrow a sewing machine, and craft a mail organizer for a door or wall in your house.

Unbleached fabric, a bit of thread, and cardstock are all you really need, plus the elastic or other gear to hang this horizontal mail organizer. The bright and blithe blog offers some suggested title cards for each of four pockets, and they’re pretty good concepts (“To be paid” and “Action required” seem a little redundant, perhaps), but you can easily make your own pocket covers if that design isn’t up your alley.
