Nexus One Site Goes Live, Verizon & Vodafone to get the Handset by Spring

That’s right my good fellows, Vincent is at the Google Event having extra fun, and of course asking all the questions he can. But for now, let’s start with the Nexus One site, which is already gone live.

At the site, you will see the prices of the Nexus One after clicking on the “Get your phone” blue button. There’s no surprise, we already knew the pricing; You can buy the phone without service for $529, and insert your own SIM card, there’s free shipping in the continental US. In the package you’ll get: a Nexus One phone case, a wall charger, and USB cable. From T-Mobile, with the Even More individual 500 Plan and a new two year agreement, the Nexus One Phone will cost you $179.

But that’s not all, as you can see on the image below, Verizon and parent company Vodafone, will also carry the Google Nexus One Phone. According to the site, they both will carry the Android handset by Spring 2010. On the Google Event, Vincent asked if there will be unlocked CDMA handsets available, the answer he got was: “That’s complicated. The Nexus One will be available with Verizon service, [but not unlocked]; the Vodafone version will be the regular GSM model.

So there you have it folks, it is confirmed; the Nexus One will arrive to Big Red pretty soon, and you will have to decide between it and the DROID. Which one will you get?
